How Does Unsolved Homicides Impact Our Communities?

Every time that a homicide goes unsolved, a murderer remains out on the street.  It is very likely that the perpetrator will repeat this terrible act of violence because of the fact that they feel that they have out smarted the system.  They have literally gotten away with murder.  Until law enforcement, judicial personnel and citizens are willing to work together toward finding an effective way to deal with this problem, our neighborhoods will continue be at high risk.  These felons, who manage to get away with murder, will continue to spread violence throughout the streets of our communities depriving responsible, law abiding citizens of an opportunity to raise their families in a safe and peaceful environment.
