Essay Ceratosaurus was a primitive theropod dinosaur prowling what are now the states of Utah and Colorado during the Late Jurassic period. It's most distinctive features were its prominent nose and eye horns. Ceratosaurus also had four-fingered "hands", unlike the (three-fingered) allosaurs with which it competed for prey. |
