SUN. 03 -
BELTZVILLE STATE PARK.
Depart G & R at 8:30 AM or contact
leader to meet at trailhead. This Pennsylvania State Park, just beyond
the N.E. PA Turnpike's tunnel, has a sand beach, changing facilities,
showers, and hiking trails. Hike 4 to 6 miles in the shade, probably
by the waterfall and then head for the beach. Optional dinner
afterwards. Cost: $0.75 plus $10.50 CTDTOE. Leaders: Anna & Michael

SUN. 10 -
LAKE ATSION.
Depart from F & B at 9:00 AM. Here is your
chance to hike, swim, and picnic in a beautiful park in the Pine
Barrens of New Jersey. Sun lotion and insect repellent advisable.
Cost: $0.75 plus $3.50 CTDTOE and yourshare of entrance fee. Leaders:

SAT. 16 -
RADNOR TRAIL EVENING
Depart from the parking lot of John Harvard's Brew House, 629 W. Lancaster Avenue in
Radnor/Strafford at 6:30 PM (a short walk from Strafford station of
the R-5). We'll walk a block to the beginning of the Radnor Trail, for
an easy five mile hike, ending at John Harvards,
celebrating the dog days of August. Cost $0.75. Leader: Carol Seelaus,

SUN. 17 -
BLUE MARSH LAKE -
Depart G & R at 8:30 AM, or call leaders
for directions. Come hike for a while through forests and fields with
many views of the lake, then enjoy a refreshing swim. Hike 6-8 miles.
Cost: $0.75 plus $10.00 CTDTOE, plus share of $2.00 park entrance fee.

SUN. 24 ­
FRENCH CREEK STATE PARK.
Meet at G&R at 9:00 AM. This is a
beautiful park with two lovely lakes and wonderful woods. We will hike
and then go swimming at the pool, which is beside Hopewell Lake. Hike
5-6 miles. Bring lunch or buy at the snack bar. Cost: $.75 and $7.00
CTDTOE. There is also an entrance fee at the pool. Leader: Bob Miller,

SAT. 30 -
EAST ROCKS & NORTH LOOKOUT @ HAWK MOUNTAIN VIA THE AT.
This 9 mile loop will take us from the AT crossing on Hawk Mountain Road to
the AT ridge trail & later the Skyline Trail We'll scramble several
times to reach our private lunch spot away from the crowd. This hike
will gain 1500' for the day & is very strenuous. We will complete the
loop by taking the west side trail of the river of Rocks loop to
return to our vehicles. Boots/poles strongly urged. Bring food &
water. Rain/lightening/extreme heat/humidity cancels. Meet @ AT & Hawk
Mountain Road at 10 AM. (No Facilities Available). E-mail leaders for
directions & to be in the information loop for updates. Cost: $0.75

PENNYPACK/LORIMER PARKS.
Depart from Bustleton & Benton
Avenues at 9:45 am (Rt. 58 bus from F & B). We will hike the trails on
both sides of the creek in these pretty urban parks. We will eat our
lunches at the beautiful picnic grove in Lorimer Park picnic tables,
restrooms & water fountain). About 8-9 miles. Cost: $0.75. Leader:
